In this innovative 6-part CLE series, Rabbi Schiff will explore the earliest source of rabbinic jurisprudence, the Mishnah. The Mishnah is the pivotal work of recording and systematizing the oral law of Judaism. Rich in legal insights and organized topically, the Mishnah contains much of what later became operative law in Jewish life. In each session of this CLE series, Rabbi Schiff will discuss a different “order” (part) of the Mishnah, enabling those who take the full course to sample legal knowledge from across the Mishnah’s six orders.
Get up to a year’s worth of CLE credits! The first session will provide 2.5 CLE credits, and each subsequent session will provide 2.0 credits, enabling up to 12.5 credits for the entire course.
Each session is a “stand alone” unit, so you can take 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6 sessions.
The first session runs from 8:30 am to 11:15 am.
All subsequent sessions begin at 8:30 am and conclude at 10:45 am.
With CLE credit: $30/session; $150 all sessions
Without CLE credit: $20/session; $100 all sessions
